Omara Portuondo - Gracias CD

Sanırım Latin müzik seven herkes Buean Vista Socila Club' ı hatırlar ve Omara Portuondo, sanırım, bu grubun orijinal kadrosundan kalan tek isim çok önemli bir albüm Gracias.

Bu albüm bir otobiyografi gibi.Müzik ve sanatçının değişik yaşlardaki fotoğrafları size sanatçının hayatı içinde çeşitli yer ve zamanlar arasında dolaşma hissi vermekte. Müzik muhteşem bir duygusal kaliteye sahip ve sözler ile ritim sizi farklı diyarlara götürmekte.

Omara Portuondo eğer hayatı, Küba ve tüm anıları hakkında oturup ta bir kitap yazsaydı bu kadar olurdu, bu albüm ile aynen bunu yapmış ve bu olgun yaşında dinleyicilerine harika bir hediye sunmuş.

I think all of you, who loves latin music, remembers very well the marvelous band "Buena Vista Social Club" and Omara Portuondo, the only one ,I guess, has been living from the original members of Buena Vista Social Club, makes an important album Gracias for all Latin music lovers .

This album has the feel of an autobiography. The music, along with photos of Omara at different ages, has the feel of being transported to the times and places in which she lived. There is a sentimental quality to this music but the lyrics and rhythms carry you from place to place.

If she had written a book about her life in Cuba and listed all her stage performances and gossiped about every detail one could read it, enjoy it, and then put it away or pass it on, but you can play this CD over and over and marvel at what it must have been like to be Ms. Portuondo at every beautiful age.
