In the past, I reviewed different albums of Oscar Peterson here. He is one of the most essential jazz pianist in history and he had been activated until his death in 2007.
His trio, consists of Herb Ellis in guitar, Ray Brpwns in bass and his self in piano, in 50s is unforgottable. They worked in this period very important musicians like Ella Fitzgeralg, Louis Armstrong.
In this review, I will try to tell about the album " An Evening With Oscar Peterson ", which is from early 50s. Album was produced by Norman Granz and released by Clef Records.
Think that the evening time and you are in a jazz club where Oscar Peterson plays and what kind of songs you an here. This is the simple way to explain the album concept.
When you're listening to this album, you are feeling absolutely that you are listening one of the greatest jazz pianists and musicians,Ray Brown in bass, Barney Kessel in guitar and Alvin Stoller in drums, supported him in the album
